Grant Plaza hotel, San Francisco - Centrally located

Grant Plaza hotel in San Francisco is located within chinatown. Its close to union square where all the shopping, pubs, restaurants are located. most of the hop-on hop-off tours also start from union square. The room was small but being san franciso, i guess this room had good value for money.it would have been nice to have coffee maker in the room and also a business center to take printouts. There was someone at the reception lobby at all times and they were helpful to answer any questions.

LuxBus America, Los Angeles - good service and punctual

LuxBus tours and travels to Disneyland/California adventure offers good service. They are very punctual and polite. We were given a picked time of 7am at the Hollywood  Roosevelt Hotel and the tour bus was already waiting for us. The driver took our voucher and handed us our tickets to the theme park. They also said that they would pick us up at 8pm from Disneyland they were there at the pickup location on time. I definitely recommend everyone to use LuxBus tours and travels for any tours of Los Angeles. They really provide a wonderful and enjoyable experience.

Hollywood historic hotel, Los Angeles

Room was spacious, clean, tidy and with all amenities as described when booking. Room was cleaned daily and bedsheets were replaced. Excellent WiFi signal strength. there are many taxis that operate in this area and the front desk can arrange one for you. Its close to Hollywood Blvd, walk of fame, Beverly Hills, etc.

GoTo bus from Las Vegas to Los Angeles

GoTo bus got delayed by 10mins coz of traffic on the strip. they picked us up at Ballys hotel and casino around 2.45pm at the north entrance. The ride was smooth and the bus stopped after 2 hrs for a break for passengers to get food and drink. They dropped us off in downtown Los Angeles around 8pm at 700 Staples avenue. its surprising that the bus did not go to 767 staples avenue as that was the last stop for this bus. if you are on a budget holiday then this would be your bus to take to Los Angeles or Las Vegas depending where you are staying.

Americanshooters Las Vegas - no waiting in line but costly

We had gone to Americanshooters in Las Vegas to shoot some guns(pistols and rifles). There is no waiting in line at all. its just walk in, show some ID, choose your gun(s) and ammo and then go to the range and shoot at targets. Their prices are on the higher side, range fee $15, rental pistols $10, .500 caliber revolver with box of bullets $41 , Ak-47 with two magazines $80+$34.total for two persons came to $194 for just these two guns. I think that the "The Gun Store" [2900 E Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89121] in east las vegas would have been a better option as they have better rates and the only flipside here is that sometimes the wait time is 60mins or more.

AllSightseeingtours.com - good service and on time

We had made use of the allsightseeingtours for our trip to the Grand canyon west rim tour with the skywalk. Their bus picked us up on time and took us to their office where we were issued with blue wrist bands. After a complimentary breakfast we were on our way to see the Grand Canyon. The captain of the bus, Thomas was a jovial person and keep us entertained on the way to and back from Grand Canyon. We were also dropped back to the Grand Marriott Hotel, Las Vegas on time around 6.45pm. I will definately use allsightseeingtours for any further tours that i plan to go for.

Travellodge Las Vegas - good accomodation

The travel lodge is just 1 min walk off "The Strip". All casino's, pubs, bar & restaurants are located within 10-15mins walk from here. Most of the tour operators pickup and dropoff is also within walking distance. There is a coffee maker in the room and the room is spacious.

You need to wake up a bit early to get your free breakfast otherwise most of it will be over. We were here on a weekday so it was quiet and there was not much disturbance from traffic or other people. Its good value for money. There is always someone present at the reception desk so you have no problem to checkin or checkout at anytime.

Horrible service for VIP tours & charters los Angeles

VIP tours & charters (9830 Ballanca Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90045) pickup and dropoff at 'select' hotels is terrible and pathetic. They give a pickup time by phone and then arrive 1.5hrs later. They do not know even the correct address of the pickup location. The tollfree and local number phone support is disgusting and they are very rude.

I DO NOT advise anyone to use their services. In fact they should change their name to "unreliable tours and charters"
