"British electronica giants The Prodigy will perform in India in January 2011. We can confirm that the trio responsible for massive hits like ‘Firestarter’, ‘Smack My Bitch Up’ and more recently, ‘Omen’ will headline the first edition of the Invasion Festival.
The first Invasion Festival will be held in Bangalore and New Delhi on Jan 13 and 15 respectively. The festival will see major international electronica/crossover acts perform alongside Indian majors like Mumbai electro rock act Pentagram. The Prodigy will headline the festival in both cities. The influential British act will be perhaps the biggest, currently relevant band to perform in the country, and the gigs promise to be the most exciting live shows we’ve ever seen by an international act in the country."
